Shahid N. Khan joined Al Islami Foods Group in March 2020. He is a UK qualified professional, with degrees in Economics & Management and with strong achievements in building power brands. He has vast leadership experience in Blue Chip FMCG companies, Retail (Electronics, Home Furnishings, Fashion and Sports Retail) and F&B (Gourmet Food Retail and Restaurants). He has worked with Unilever for 17 years in senior positions, across various businesses in South Asia and the United States. Since 2000, he has been working in senior leadership positions as Managing Director/ CEO in the GCC for regional conglomerates such as IFFCO Group, Al-Ghanim Industries, Al Homaizi Group and Al Yaqout Group.

Irfan Munawar – Chief Financial Officer

Irfan Munawar is a Chartered Accountant by profession with over 25 years of professional experience in the field of accounting, corporate finance, business planning and auditing. Prior to his role in Al Islami Foods Group, he worked as a Chief Financial Officer in Al Rajhi Holding Group, Building Solutions Sector, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also held key positions in Engro Corporation Limited, Pakistan, previously a subsidiary of Exxon USA.

Gabriel Assimacopoulos – Chief Commercial Officer

Gabriel has over 30 years of extensive experience within the FMCG industry in the MESA region in developing and transforming business models and identifying new revenue and market opportunities for existing and new businesses. He’s gained his skills in regional and global companies as Sunbulah Group KSA, Agthia, Reckitt Benckiser, Nampak and Unilever. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Natal.

Muna Alketbi, Director of Human Resources Department at Al Islami Foods is at the forefront for employee-related affairs. Her diverse career experience within the government and private sectors has given her a multi-cultural experience which she uses to spearhead several employee-centric programs and benefits. As an Emirati, she wishes to bring Al Islami at par with multi-national company practices with focus on improved productivity through a motivated work force.

Ahmed El PrinceDirector – Logistics

Ahmed El Prince has a strong skill set in Accounting, Inventory, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. His current role empowers him to contribute in building a successful and sustainable partnership with the company’s valued customers. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Accounting from Beirut Arab University, Alexandria, Egypt.

Shareef MohammedManager – Global Procurement

Shareef Mohammed

Shareef Mohammed leads all global procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable company spend and supply. He previously held the position of Business Planning Manager for creating and implementing business planning process in the company. Before joining Al Islami he worked as an auditor for the Hyatt Group and had years of experience in finance and the banking sector with global Fortune 500 companies  like Accenture. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

Imran Saqib – Factory Manager

Imran Saqib

Imran Saqib heads the company’s Manufacturing Division.He has done M.Sc. (Honors) in Food Science & Technology and Diploma in Strategy and Operations.He is a specialist in food and meat Industry with 15 years of experience working for different food companies like Global Food and Mayfair Group. He has rich experience in the food industry including frozen & chilled meat processing, retail food chain and catering.His core competencies are strategic operations management, expertise in meat processing and implementing continuous improvement strategies that yield sustainable results & lean manufacturing.
