 Barbecue chicken

 Serves 4 Servings

- 450g (1lb) baby new potatoes
- 4 chicken legs
- 2 onions
- 120ml (8tbsp) tomato ketchup
- 30 ml (2tbsp) soft dark brown sugar
- 30ml (2tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 450g (1lb) baby new potatoes

- 30ml (2tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt and ground black pepper

- Pre heat the oven to 220°C, 425°F, Gas Mark 7. Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make 2-3 deep cuts in each piece of chicken. Cut the onions into thick slices.
- In a large bowl mix together the ketchup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
- Drain the potatoes.
- Heat the oil in a roasting pan on the hob and add the potatoes and allow to fry for 5 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and add the chicken and the sauce.
- Mix the chicken and potatoes together to coat them well in the sauce mix. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the chicken is slightly charred and coated in sticky barbecue sauce.
