AL ISLAMI HOSTS IRANIAN MAYORS


Dubai:Al Islami Foods has recently hosted 14 Iranian Municipality Mayors who were on official tour to Dubai Municipality, Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, DP World and Creek Park to share knowledge on technological and business infrastructure of the latest projects.

The dignitaries, who were accompanied by Hamid Badawi, Assistant General Manager of Al Islami Foods, visited the offices of Dubai Municipality (DM) to observe the waste recycling system used in Dubai. They toured Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA), Dubai Port World (DP World), and Creek Park to examine the advanced irrigation system installed in the public parks of Dubai. To learn how Dubai is making waves in halal-food industry, officials paid a special visit to Al Islami food processing plant in Jebel Ali and praised the advanced methods being used by Al Islami factory.

The trip is in conjunction with Al Islami’s expansion into Iran market and vis-à-vis attracting Iranian businessmen to the UAE to forge new business relations.

“Due to UAE’s state-of-the-art business infrastructure and being the safest in the region, Dubai has become ideal business metropolitan in the world.” said Saleh Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Al Islami Foods. “We are pleased to host the Mayors who discussed long-term business ventures with Al Islami Foods. We will provide all our support to make their visit a success and to materialize their aspirations.” Saleh Lootah added.

Seyed Jafar Hashemi, one of the mayors who is specializes in traffic and transportation system, thanked Al Islami’s support and stated: “UAE has gained the strength of being a benchmark in halal-food industry with Al Islami as a role-model.”

Among the officials who visited Dubai include: Nader Karami, Mayor of State No.12; Ebadollah Fathollahi Kalanpa, Mayor of State No.4; Alireza Javid, Mayor of State No.17; Vajihollah Aghataghi, Mayor of State No.3; Ali Kafaei Mohammadnejad, Mayor of State No.20, along with Hossein Kalkhorani , Seyed Jafar Hashemi from Iranian Traffic & Transportation Department and Majid Ebnoreza, Advisor to the Mayor of Tehran.
