With the current 50% net increase in sales volume, company expects more than 100% rise by the end of the validity, which is end of this month
Dubai:Al Islami Foods, the leading producer of halal products in the Middle East, received unexpected results in response to its Halal Food campaign during this Ramadan. The company today announced over 50% rise in net sales in the UAE market, which is unprecedented compared to last year. The Halal food drive is valid till the end of October.
Jon Wilton-Reynolds, a British entrepreneur, while responding to the campaign, said: “It is fantastic to see the success of Al-Islami and I am not surprised to see that their sales have increased over previous Ramadan period. As a consequence of the quality and value that company’s products provide, they are great for Arabs and non-Arabs alike.”
Al Islami’s primary focus has been the housewives who are more responsible to nourish their families with healthy food, says the chief executive officer of Al Islami Foods, Saleh Lootah.
“I buy Al Islami products since I came to the UAE because of their quality and being authentic halal” said, Soheir Ahmed, an Egyptian housewife living in Sharjah.”
Al Islami is expecting that the drive will yield more than 100% increase in sales by the end of this month.
